Approve, reject or comment
Decide each priced line.
Open a line in the Estimate review to check it against the drawing, then decide it. Estimators make the decisions, and every decision saves as you make it.
Decide a line
Select a line. Its detail opens with a preview of the drawing, the priced area outlined, and a section called How this line was priced.
Under Your decision, choose one of three buttons:
- Approve when the line matches the drawing at a fair price.
- Reject when something is wrong. MillOS asks "What is wrong with this line?".
- Comment or ask to add a note or a question. MillOS asks "What should the Expert know, or what do you want to ask?".
For a rejection or a comment, write your words and choose Reject or Comment. Press Enter to save, or choose Cancel.
Approving a line again takes the approval back. After you reject or comment, an Edit button lets you change your words.
Check a line before you decide
The line detail shows how MillOS arrived at the number:
- How much, Catalog rate and Amount with waste and markup
- Measured now and Matched product
- How it was measured: from a printed dimension, scaled from the drawing, counted on the drawing, or assumed
If the line has a question, it appears as The agent's question about this line. If it was in an earlier round, Last round shows your earlier comment and the Expert's reply.
To see the line on the sheet itself, choose Open in Takeoff Studio in the drawing preview.
Keyboard shortcuts

A Single-key shortcuts switch in the line detail turns the letter keys off. The arrow keys stay on.
Saving
The review shows Saving decisions… while it saves, then All decisions saved. Nothing needs a separate save step.
