Check where a number came from
Trace a quantity back to the drawing.
Every priced line traces back to a measurement on a drawing, and the line detail shows you how to follow it.
Look at the drawing. The preview in the line detail crops the sheet and outlines the priced area, so you see exactly what was measured.
Read how it was measured. How it was measured tells you which of these it was:
- From a printed dimension: the number is printed on the drawing.
- Scaled from the drawing: it was measured against the sheet's scale.
- Counted on the drawing: it is a count of items.
- Assumed: MillOS assumed it, and says so.
Check the product. Matched product names the Product Library product used to price the line. Its rate appears as the Catalog rate.
Open the sheet. Choose Open in Takeoff Studio to land on the same sheet with the line's shapes selected, where you can check the measurement and the sheet's scale.
