Follow the run
Watch the estimate come together in the Chat.
While MillOS works, the Chat shows what it is doing, so you can follow along or come back later.
Status
At the top of MillOS's reply you see where things stand: Thinking, then Working with a timer, and the step it is on. If it needs you, it reads Waiting for your answer. When it finishes, it reads Worked for followed by how long it took.
Plan
The Plan control lists the steps MillOS intends to take, with a count such as 3/8 and a progress bar. Open it to see each step.
Experts
MillOS sends Experts to do specific jobs, such as reading documents, working out scope, measuring or reviewing. Each Expert has a card in the Chat. It shows Queued while its assignment is written, Running while it works, and Worked for when it is done.
Live takeoff
While MillOS measures, choose Live takeoff at the top of the Chat to watch the saved takeoff arrive beside the Chat. It is in every Chat inside a Project.
Type ahead
The message box stays open while the run goes on. It reads "Type ahead; your draft is kept" so you can write your next message in the meantime.
Stop a run
Choose Stop in the message box to end the run. The box shows Stopping until it has finished.
When the run finishes
Two cards appear at the end of the Chat: the Estimate review round N card, and Published files with the workbook and proposal.
