The Studio's Project menu
The Project menu inside Takeoff Studio.
The Project menu in Takeoff Studio gathers the actions that belong to the whole Project.
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Estimate review | Check the estimate line by line beside the drawings, then continue with the Expert. |
| Takeoff Report | Open the report of totals. The item then reads Close the Takeoff Report. |
| Agent Workspace | This Project's conversation with the Expert. |
| Revisions | Save the takeoff as a named revision, then compare quantities between revisions. |
| Focus mode | Trade the panels for drawing space. Press F, or choose Leave focus mode. |
| Collapse the panel | Fold the right-hand panel to a rail of its four sections and their counts. Show the panel opens it again. |
Files
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Quantities sheet (CSV) | One row per saved measurement, grouped by condition, with the condition's totals. The same figures as the Takeoff panel, with no prices. |
| Square yards on the quantities sheet | Add a square yards column for square foot quantities. It is off until you turn it on. |
| Report files | Open the Takeoff Report, whose Export menu has the quantities, the marked set, the question log and Print. |
| Save takeoff file | Download this Project's measurements, conditions, scales, markups and questions as one file. The file holds your takeoff work, and the drawings stay in the Project. |
| Open takeoff file | Load a saved takeoff file onto the drawings open here. Open those drawings first. Where the two differ, your scales and conditions win. |
| Save Project archive | Download the whole Project, drawings and takeoff together, as one file you can open on another computer. |
