Takeoff Studio
Open the Studio
Open Takeoff Studio and choose your drawings.
Takeoff Studio is the drawing screen. Every sheet in a Project opens there with its measurements, and you can measure, check and edit alongside MillOS.
Ways to open it
- In the sidebar, open the three-dot menu on a Project and choose Takeoff Studio.
- In a Chat inside a Project, choose Takeoff Studio at the top. Hover it to read "Measure this Project's drawings yourself, beside the Expert's marks."
- From a PDF or an Estimate review line, choose Open in Takeoff Studio to land on the same sheet.
Drawings belong to a Project. From a Chat that is not in one, the button offers New Project and Projects so you can put the drawings in a Project first.
Choose your drawing sources
The Sources button shows how many of the Project's PDFs are open as sheets, for example 2 of 5. Choose it to open Drawing sources:
Switch each PDF on or off. Each shows a tag: Drawing or Specification with its page count.
Choose Apply. The choice is saved with the Project.
